      <image:title>Soul Work - What is Soul Work?</image:title>
<image:caption>Where does therapy end and soul work begin? This is an unanswerable question, as there is no definite line between the two. However, while psychotherapy historically has focused on symptom relief and problem solving, Soul Work tends more toward exploration and discovery. We will work under the centuries old assumptions that you have come in to this world with unique gifting and purpose which the world needs from you. It is in discovering and living out your particular calling which will bring you the deepest sense of meaning and joy in this lifetime. These gifts, however, are often tied to and obscured by woundings in life, and therefore not always easily or simply realized. The work of Soul involves wrestling with these questions as they pertain to your particular life. We will draw on dreams, images, myth, poetry and story as we seek to create a space in which Soul can be revealed.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - Carl Bello, MA, LPC-MHSP</image:title>
<image:caption>A little bit about myself. I have been a practicing psychotherapist since 2010, receiving my training from the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. I have also received extensive training in Jungian Psychology, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Attachment Theory, chronic pain and illness, and grief. And although I draw continuously on these modalities, I am a philosopher and a poet at heart and I often weave these elements with current neuroscience in the work of psychotherapy. I see my work as a therapist and healer as part of my contribution to the more beautiful world I know is possible. I am filled with wonder at the wisdom of the ancestors and consider this work as a living homage to them. Having practiced several decades as a veterinarian, I am a lover of animals and the natural world. You can often find me on long walks, in the kitchen, or with a book in my hands. I currently hold counseling licenses in Idaho, Washington, Tennessee, and Oklahoma.</image:caption>
